How We Started

The Product Loft was founded in 2021 by a bunch of product enthusiasts.

Having realised that product management is still a lesser known career path, we set out to educate and bring together people who are interested in this industry.

Over the year, we have built a 100+ members (and growing!) strong community for early career product managers like ourselves — where we have a safe space to share our experiences along the way.

It all begun with a webinar...

In a bid to support the burgeoning PM community in SG, Johann and Steph hosted a PM webinar (where 100+ people showed up) and rallied like-minded folks to contribute in setting up TPL.

Mentorship & Curriculum Masterclasses for aspiring PMs

To empower aspiring PMs with the necessary skillsets for them to succeed at a workplace, masterclasses were thoughtfully planned out and conducted.

Stronger focus on the community and for early career PMs

Alongside the growth of our members, more emphasis was placed on building a space where early career PMs can connect with each other, learn together and foster a greater sense of belonging.

2023 was an important year where we initiated our new flagship event - KIN Fellowship Program.

Its objective is to:

Build meaningful relationships with other early career PMs across different companies and industries.
Deepen core competencies and develop professionally as a PM at this specific stage of their career.

The program's success validated the needs and painpoints for the members in our TPL community.

Since then, TPL has ramped up initiatives that focuses on our two main guiding pillars -
